[x300] X300 Heater Pump and Valve- Relay location?

In reply to a message from Cressy sent Mon 29 Sep 2008:

Hi Cressy,
The Heater pump relay is situated in the L/H engine bay.
If you remove the plastic shroud between the L/H headlamp and the
air filter housing you will see a row of 4 relays. The one you want
is the 3rd one in from the wing (fender).
The heater valve is operated direct from the Climate control module
and has no interfacing relay.
There are 2 fuses controlling the heater pump - Fuse 8 (15amp) L/H
engine bay fuseboard. Fuse14 - (10 amp) R/H healboard.
It may also be worth checking the Climate control module fuses.
They are - Fuse 12 (10 amp),R/H healboard and Fuse18 (10 amp), L/H
healboard.
When you check the heater pump relay ensure the cables to the relay
base are OK. These are known to corrode and break-away.
Best of luck,
Mike–

Thx., Jamie, I’d be obliged if you would. The heater pump and
valve relay(s) is possibly under the bonnet/hood, or perhaps
in the right footwell panel.
