[x300] X308 it's back with a different problem

To all who helped with the ABS/STAB Control light problem, it’s
still there. I replaced a wheel sensor had the module rebuilt,
bleed the brakes. But to no avail. The light stayed out for a few
miles ?? then a new problem started. The light comes on when I
start the car I go a few miles stop shut off the car, restart it
and the light goes out. When I drive on the highway get off at an
exit start to brake then I get a pulsing on the pedal and a noise
from the left hand front brake / front side of the car. Checked
ball joints they seem ok ,checked the brakes they seem ok ?? can
the control unit still be faulty ?? or is the ABS motor acting up.

Previous owner of my car had trouble with the ABS light coming on,
after cleaning one sensor and having the light come on again, he
just had them all cleaned. No more issues for 5K miles.

Suggest you clean the 3 sensors you did not replace, include any
electrical connections to the sensors.

This was also the fix on my XJS ABS.–

after my cylinder washing no start problem, I have this light
on as well . . . did you just clean the brakes with brake
cleaner or use electrical cleaner on the sensor? seems
strange that both my things happened at the same time. . .–
i love oil leaks . . .

In my case I just used a cloth. There was a large buildup of gunk
over the sensor. Just wipe the sensor.–

get a quart of dot5 and start pumping…do calipers furthest from
master cylinder first…drain it all…check for stuck piston in
wheel cylinders too…get contact cleaner and spray electrical
connectors on abs unit cable after removed…sometimes I wonder if
the pump goes faulty on abs unit too but thats a whole story in
itself…could go on and on been there…–
