Hi the autochanger in my 1998 XJ8 sometimes becomes faulty when
trying to skip to next album by holding button on steering wheel.
It comes up with fault think it was E01, and refuses to change CD.
if you remove cartridge from autochanger fault clears and it works
fine. However yesterday it was having none of this and only after
about ten attempte would it eject the CD cartridge. Problem doesn’t
occur if it changes album itself. Any ideas before it jams
completely and refuses to eject cartridge?–
