The key fob on my X308 has stopped working. Changed batteries & the boot release & headlight buttons work but not the door locks. It was working a week or so ago then went intermittent then stopped altogether. All doors work Ok on the key. Have the feeling that the actuators are sticking due to lack of use of late. Wondered if anyone has experienced this prob and perhaps used WD40 or other remedial action to free off the actuators?. Also are the actuators easy to access? Presumably U have to take off the door covers? Would be grateful for any advice. Rgds… Charlie.
open the remote, and clean the tip of the buttons.

or try pressing the buttons harder to see if it works
Thanx Andy. Did that and only the lights and boot worked initially but then i operated the locks on the key a few times and tried again and it worked albeit somewhat intermittently i.e., not every time. I’m thinking about using WD40 on the door lock actuators. Anyone ever tried this? Rgds. Charlie.
