Some time ago there was a question about how to disable the auto function from the second switch position. It seems I’ve discovered it by accident.

I recently had an electrical problem caused by a bad alternator. During this time the battery was disconnected for 3 days. Upon getting the car back on the road I that the 'auto function had been disabled.

The system is just waiting to be RESET. The end points need to be defined for the system to work.

You can leave it like that so it won’t operate as planned.
