Depends upon which 3.4, there have been 2 versions. There was the
original 3.4 in the XK’s and Mark 2, and then there was the “reborn” 3.4
in the Series 2 and 3 XJ. That used the staggered bore of the 4.2, but
the same bore and stroke of the original 3.4. Similar, but not the same
blocks.
