When I purchased this car used, someone had installed a
aftermarket ignition module. I am not of the manufacurer. I am
not getting any spark from the center lead from the coil or from
the spark plugs. I know the original ignition amplifier had the
opus system, but since this was changed on my jag, I am not sure
how it is wired, if the ballast resister should be wired in the
circuit. I would like to install a reliable ignition system. Can
anyone offer any suggestions? Any part numbers for replacement
modules for the opus system, or good conversions? Also, should I
buy a specific replacement coil?
