[xj] 86 VDP v12/XJ6 compatability

I have a sick 86 VDP V12 and a line on an 86 VDP XJ6. What from the XJ6
wont work on the V12 other than the engine and associated electronics?

Mike, unless you already have the later MK IV Climate Control in your V12
like I do in my 88 (which is the same as the XJS)? Everything except the
engine, trans, driveline (this I’m not sure about, but it makes since) and
the actual rear end, should work in the V12 or XJ6. Either way. Now I
believe the rearend may be more a matter of technicality if you don’t care
if you still have a posi rearend as that is what the V12 should have and the
XJ6 should not.

But every other part on that car should be the same exact thing. Well okay,
probably not the radiator either. I even know the fan clutch is the same
though. Tanks, fuel system, wood, seats, light assemblies, everything else
should swap either way. Oh, another difference should be the speedometer.
The XJ6 should show 140mph (#? kph) and the XJ12 should go to 160mph (#?
kph).
