I’ve been wondering where in the heck I can get these things for
years. Can someone help me out ?
Thanks much,
Jim Legge
PS - You west coast guys really stick together, don’t forget about
us on the ‘‘right’’ side of the continent. I’m attending a british
car show this Sunday in Middleburg, VA - turn left at 'Frisco and
straight on 'til you hit the second mountain range.–

Ok, the SIII door trim has holes at the top sharp edge that were plugged at
the factory by little black rubber dealybobs (whistle stops). When I got our
SIII, one was missing, so I just used black caulk, before learning the
‘proper’ solution. CW in Atlanta has some, I’ll bet. I actually prefer
caulk, since it’s less obvious.–

Doug, thanks for the part number. I never had the nerve to walk
into my local Jag dealer and ask for little dealybobs or do-hickeys
for a twenty year-old XJ. I can see me asking for whistlestops,
they’d probably direct me to J.C. Whitney for deer whistles.
Cheers,
