Hi all
The cruise control in my 85 XJ6 is not working.
I bought the car some weeks ago and I now replaced the 2A Glass fuse that
was missing from the fuse box.
I tried to follow the instructions in the manual…nothing.
I have the original Green manual book and Haynes book.
I didn�t find anything there on how to check what is wrong…
Please point me if you know…
I have looked at EXPERIENCE IN A BOOK (thanks Kirby) but the
procedure there is quite difficult to follow for someone like me that
has not any experience of cars or ease with the language …
(my fault in both cases :-(((
Is there some simple procedure to determine where is the trouble?
just in plain english …
(Swedish are welcome too 
Last question…
The set button (combination lights switch) will it “click” and stay in place
(all other buttons in the car have a Click ON and Click OFF …
In my car the cruise control seems to return back when pressed without clicking
anywhere in the way …
and yes…the other button is at ON (tried with resume too…) …nothing .
