A couple of weeks ago I bought a c/control unit on eBay for my XJ12.

Can anybody identify what Jag it came from? My car’s unit apart from the
multi-wire plug, has a single green wire plug. As seen in the picture
this one has a green and brown wire in a double plug.
Can this be adapted for my car or have I wasted time and money on the
wrong unit?
