[xj] Duplex manifold gasket

I’m ready to bolt the duplex manifold (the one with the two
additionalbutterflies) onto the intake manifold. What kind of gaskets
go in there? Are they of the paper type or more of a fiber type used
before the carburetors.

Hi folks,

I need to replace the gasket between the intake manifold and duplex
manifold on my stromberg equipped series 1 xj6. Having trouble
finding it but I was wondering if anyone knows if a standard intake
gasket for an SU carb would work? Am I correct in assuming that the
intake manifold on an SU equipped car is the same as a later car
with the additional duplex system? If so it would seem that the
gasket in question should be the same shape… right?
