Hi gang,
Although I’ve been on the list only four months I have heard there was a
major legal hassle a year or so ago regarding this issue so Jeb is right in
calling it “delicate”. I’m sure we’ll be hearing from Craig on this but it
seems to me that the easiest way would be to simply ask and reply off-list.
So, if you’ve had a bad go-round with a vendor or service provider you can
describe the problem and then just say “contact off-list for name and
details”.

Would that work ? Surely we have a lawyer or two out there---- God knows
we’re a mixed bag.

Looking at the other side of the coin maybe we should start a thread
mentioning all the suppliers and shops who do a great job and can be
recommended without reservation. Soon enough we’d have a large and
geographically comprehensive listing.

Sorry I re-stirred up a sensitive issue! It appears I jumped head first
into a shallow pool but good suggestions appear to be the result. I like
the idea of just good vendor reporting and acknowledging off-list the bad
folks. I am sure there are legal ways of getting the info out to the
people, such as myself, who are new to the jag-lovers site and just
beginning to develop relationships with parts suppliers and repair
facilities specific to this vehicle.

Again, I apologize if I am retreading covered areas of concern.
