While attempting to remove the center grille
bar (the part which holds the growler medallion)
tonight, I broke all three of the die cast pins
which hold it on. Yes, I did remove the washer
off of the pins first. Now I guess I will order a
new one at about $50 US. Can anyone tell me if
the new one will go on without any trouble. The
old one seemed to have the pins not parallel with
each other so that it had to be pried off, which
is what broke the pins.
Thanks for your help.

Seems a lot to pay for a Growler Badge Alden----- I,ve just priced them at
Au$22 here in Australia.

Its the chrome bar that holds the Growler emblem that has the pins that
broke. Therefore the whole bar needs to be replaced. I have done this twice
on past cars, with no problem

It should come with new threaded pins. I’ve bought two and both had nice
clean threads and went on with no problem. You might try a little antisieze
on the threads to keep them from rusting again.
