Dear jag-lovers.
Almost having my 1974 Daimler Double Six (Series 2) fully restored I still
have some difficulty flushing the brake fluid through the release nipple on
the rear brake callipers. Because I can’t find them!!! I have NO acces
panel from the spare tire compartment (as shown in the Haynes workshop
manual)!
I look from below when i jacked the car up but did not find any brake fluid
bleeding nipple… Since the car is without license plates I can’t drive to
a garage to examine it on a bridge. Is there an easy way to flush it?
I must flush it before the MOT-test because the rear calllipers are
sticking.

Walter-
The nipples are there! As I recall, I had the back end up on stands, laid
down on my creeper and with my nose scraping the underside, pulled myself
under from the side. Looking up from the aforementioned prone position,
they are barely visible near the top of the calipers. I think I was
slightly forward of the axles, looking up and rearward.
BTW, I remember no mention in Haynes of an access panel, but the photo had
one of those “remainder of auto removed for clarity” notes.

Hi Walter,
Can you see where the brake pipes from the T piece on the front of the sub
frame connect on the inside of each caliper? The bleed nipples point
upwards in the corresponding position on the outside of each caliper.
