Someone posted that there was a used AC amplifier on ebay and
phil.profili@cptii.com exclaimed:
Why buy a used one. If yours is broken, you can bet this >one will go the same

Not to be contrary but I don’t think it makes such bad sense to buy and install
a used automotive electronic device if said device has been tested and found to
be good. Granted the after-market A/C amps might be a better value but the above
statement seems to imply that the (original but technically ‘used’) amp in my
car will soon fail.
