I was doing some online window shopping and came across this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1974-Jaguar-XJ6C-4-2-/260946243208?
pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item3cc19bae88#vi-content
Now I could be wrong, but I thought 1976 was the first year for the
XJC, not 1974. Is there any way to tell what year this thing
really is?
Also, the buyer has an incorrect VIN that doesn’t seem to be
pulling up the history report (not that the vehicle history report
really matters on a car that old and in that condition). This
probably wouldn’t help determine the actual model year.
Finally, the seller would probably get a lot more money for the car
if he/she dragged it out of the shed, washed it off, and took some
decent pictures of it.
Is this one best suited as a parts car, or is it worth fixing up.
I’m assuming being a 2-door would push the car closer to the ‘‘worth
fixing up’’ category than if it were the more common 4-door.–
