[xj] Parts supplier Information

I hope this type of question is not dis-allowed on this forum, but
I can’t seem to be able to find a web site for Paul’s Jaguar on the
net, I think he is located in Florida. I would like his phone
number so I can add him to my list of parts suppliers. I think he’s
specializing in the XJC’s. I’ve looked under paulsjaguar.com, with
no success as a web site. I hope someone can give me that info
without offending the powers above on this site.–

Works for me but is a waste of time other than the contract info. The website
does not have any info on the various sections so you end up calling
anyway.

Yes, it is a waste of time…you will absolutely have to call. Be
prepared for at least a 20 minute phone call, ie they are very
thorough.

Also, several times I’ve tried Instant Messaging them on AIM. Alls
I got was a big ole run around or no response at all…finally, I
got instructions to call in.

There’s just no way around it - no ‘‘window shopping’’ allowed. You
absolutely have to call in.

I think the problem is that most of these companies find it very
expensive and/or time consuming to keep an active website up-to-
date. Plus, frankly speaking, I think they feel more comfy doing
the selling themselves - rather than allowing the website do it for
them.

However, they are smart enough to know they at least need a
presence on the web, even if it is a fancy facade.–
