Marcus, have a look at the bonnet metal behind the hinge. If the metal is
worn, this can cause the hinge to pull away from the bonnet and lift the
front edge. If u remove the hinge spring to take the pressure of the hing
the bonnet should close and align correctly. I have this problem on my SII
at that moment that needs repair.
