My 87 XJ6 VdP is also MDJ (silver birch metallic) and I must say, it does
NOT look silver. I know the PO had new paint done on the doors to fix dings
etc, but the majority of the car is original paint.
SWMBO calls the car (which she drives most often, dang) âgoldâ.
I have the copper/gold stripes, and it looks nice.

Actually, I think an oyster pinstripe on a silver car would look really
niceâŚ
Kinda understated and elegant.
YMMV,

I think it would look as Jeb stated, âkinda understated and elegantâ during
most of the time and then perhaps ârich and flirtatiousâ when that light
hits it! (grin). I feel it would âindeedâ be very interesting to
experience.
Itâs really too bad my car isnât silver, I might be tempted to try it out.
