[xj] Rear door panel removal

Here is a dumb question. How do you remove the rear door
mounted ashtray? Do you remove the whole housing or just the
pivoting lid portion. I don’t want to break or tear anything?

Very easy: open the ashtray; press down on that tang now visible at the top.
The ashtray now comes out and you have access to that panel mounting screw.
