Welcome Grimbaud (or Graham?).
We have a few bits and pieces. A wiring diagram:-

and if you click on ‘‘search forums’’ and enter the appropriate
key-words you’ll find a few previous posts to keep you busy
reading for a while…–

Thankyou Sparx. It was corrosion in one switch. I followed the
current until it stopped and there it was. I could have been
100 years on that without your semantic. I will now donate $
to the Jaguar cause here.–

Welcome to the ‘‘club’’ Grimbaud. I see you’re as good as your
word and have already donated. That keeps the ball rolling.
The next thing to do is click on ‘‘edit your profile’’ (you
need to be logged in) and put your car or cars in your
signature.
It’s good to see another Series 2 car on the forum.

BTW. The word you were looking for was ‘‘schematic’’ not
‘‘semantic’’ :-)–
