[xj] Reverse Lights wires -- Follow up

Hi guys,

A few months ago (back in April) I posted a question
regarding the Reverse Lights wires, and their locations.

On the XJ6, Fuse 4 (a green wire) supplies the voltage to
the circuit – a Green wire with a Brown Tracer
(Green/Brown) runs from the transmission to the lights,
which are then individual grounded.

However, I’m not sure which Green/Brown wire I need to
identify – I’m under the center console right now, where
the shifter tower was – there is a pigtail which connects
to the larger harness on the driver’s side of the slope
which has a couple other wires, in addition to a Green/Brown
wire – however, there are a couple other Green/brown wires
in the same area, and don’t seem to be connected.

Sooo, my question is where can I find where the Green/brown
wire which runs to the reverse lights? I’m looking in the
trans tunnel… are there any other wires next to it that
could help me locate it?–

Green/brown is definitely the switched supply to the reverse
lights, so any green/brown used for a different function in
the same harness would be light green/brown.–

I found the wires that work – it is part of the pigtail which
connects to the tower itself – there is a green wire and a
green/brown wire. Reverse lights are now connected to the T56
and work perfectly.–
