Am about to have the 60,000 mile maintenance service done on my
1996 XJS in accordance with the suggested work outlined in the
owners manual. Does anyone have an idea of what the appoximate cost
of this might be. This car has been trouble free with no known or
significant issues to this point, just a few of the expected minor
things. Current milage is 63,000. Own Series III XJ6’s and Series
II and III E-Types, but this will be my first experience with an
XJS as it relates to this 60,000 service. Thanks very much for any
information you can provide. Appreciate it.

When I had to do this on my '95 about 4 years ago, the local Jag
dealer quoted a whopping ~$1,300. So I got it done through my
independent euro garage - in 2 stages to spread the expenses (in a
period of about 9 months) for a little over half that amount.–

When the dealer did mine, also at 63k, they also did the front
brakes, flexible brake hoses, and A/C service, ran just under 1400.
