[xj-s] Badge Clips

Hi all,
Anyone have any creative ideas on how to attach the badges
to the trunk/boot lid, short of Elmers or Evo-Stik ?
I found the proper clips listed under part number BAC 1681
in the catalogue, I could only find Moss Motors listing it,
and of course it is out of stock.

Paint stores or body shops have a double sided
(sticky) foam tape that is a match to the emblem
backing used by the manufacturers on the newer cars.
Easy to trim with a sharp exacto knife. Dark grey
(almost black) to hide in the shadow and easy to clean
off yet bonds well to clean surfaces holding the
emblem on tightly.— druk daveruk@earthlink.net wrote:

Forget clips. Go to any auto parts store and pick up a roll of trim
tape. Tape it to the back side of the badges, trim carefully, and
apply.
