Hello folks, im at work right now and was hoping to purchase a new
fuel pressure regulator, I dont want to have to depressurise and
measure the line, do any of you happen to know the fitting size and
size of the fuel line to the regulator? Appreciate it.–

If you call a Jaguar parts supplier they can send you the right part
without that information. Or, are you thinking about trying to
fit a generic regulator of some kind? Seems unlikely that you
will find one that would fit without a lot of changes.

Ed, Yes , I was planning on a generic pressure regulator, I am not
happy with the stock unit, especially the fact that there are two
regulators. I plan to purchase a good adjustable unit, something I
can play with a bit as I plan to treat myself to an electromotive
engine management system for Christmas to go on the flat-head 12
that I have been re-building for high-performance specification.
The one (inlet) regulator has been passing raw fuel into the
manifold (through vacuum line).
P.S. does anyone know the size of the threads on the regulator??

I assume you are talking about the HE regulators, as the preHE
are hose nipples. I happen to have a pair since I once considered using
them when I fitted an HE rail to my car. I’ll measure them as best I
can, although I would assume they are metric. I’ll get back to you
later today.

According to Wayne Estrada the connector at the fuel rail is a
metric 14 millimeter thread with 1.5 pitch. I just verified that
the HE regulator fitting fits to the rail, so seems to be the same.
Wayne found an adapter to get this to more commonly available (in the US)
AN fittings. He gives a source in his engine beautification write up at http://www.smarttriangles.com/jaguar/
