[xj-s] Heater Hoses

Help !! My low coolant light has been lighting up lately and I finally
located the culprit: a pin-size hole in one of the heater hoses. Now
comes the hard part. How do you replace the hoses located around the
heater valve ? Access is very tight and I would like to know how some
of the more experienced members have dealt with hose replacement
without losing their hair or their sanity in the process ?

Having recently done a hose replacement job on my xj6, I am not exactly
looking forward to this job. Perhaps, with some guidance and
encouragement, I may change my attitude…

With lots of patience, small hands and a 1/4" drive ratchet and suitable
nuts, which makes it reasonably easy to get the hose clips off.
