87 XJ-S V12, vin 135xxx.
The ‘‘Idle Relay’’ socket is empty. The ‘‘Idle Override Relay’’
is there. There are no problems or symptoms to report -
this is just me being curious.
I was thinking of just plugging in a relay, but I’m guessing
some PO removed it for a reason. Hopefully they did not
modify wiring after doing that.
Anyway, what am I losing by not having this relay there?
(besides the obvious idle compensation for AC compressor)
