[xj-s] low to no pressure cooling system

Found this on the web while looking for something describing how a
no-pressure cooling sytem would work:

Will respond to other messages later, but been very busy at this time
working with the modifications to my own cooling system (cool so far, but
still not done will give details when complete, AND NO STATS TO BOOT…),
handleing design issues, mulling over suggestions I see posted every day,
and courting investors…

I’ve become a MORE busy man…I’ll be in an early grave before this is
out…

BTW, like the idea of the dual sealed headlights except for one problem:

For all of you that have direct cool air behind the headlights, you would no
longer have the means to get that air to your filter boxes. The upside to
that is that we will be developing tubes for both single and dual throttle
bodied (though if one follows Bradley Smith’s example, you only need single
throttle bodies if they are QUITE LARGE…) that will route under the front
of the car to housings that are being molded into our body panel
replacements that will house cone filters.

Filtered cool air to the throttle bodies, just like a modern car.

Pure propylene glycol huh? Eh hmms… I took a look at their data sheet on
http://www.evanscooling.com/html/tech1.htm#ptbl1 and the things that concern
me are that it’s specific heat is like 60% of that of water. (Their data
sheet reports ethylene glycol’s specific heat as 80% of pure water’s in a
50/50 mix.) Also it’s pretty darned viscous. I’m willing to give it a read
& listen, but at first glance it sounds like putting pure antifreeze in your
system.

Can this stuff carry away enough heat to prevent detonation or dropped valve
seats is my question. Thier data sheet suggest no at first glance.

Skeptical I remain…

Water Wetter I will continue to use…
