[xj-s] LUCAS 3ECU trouble

Guy. I reaaly need big advice now.
I thought either the ECU or Power amplifier is dead as when
ignition key turn on, I rotate the throttle and one set of
injectors click( 1,3,5 A and 2,4,6 B). I change the ECU what I got
is similar but this time the other set of injectors click ( 2,4,6A
and 1,3,5 B).

What should I look into?
Ground? EFI main relay?

My 1976 Pre HE v12 reaaly got me this time.
Your help& suggestion would be highly appreciated.

Cheers–

Just a guess, mind you, but I’d check the throttle switch.

That is normal, as is explained on our website in this
section:-

http://www.jagweb.com/aj6eng/djetronic.php

The switch contacts only initiate injector pulses in the
injector group which is currently active, which will be
random following switch-on without cranking.–

This is normal. It fires the set that had last fired when
the engine was running.

You can read how this works at the AJ6 Engineering Web site.
Link from mine. See Sources of Jag parts.
