Ok add mine to the list. I have an 88 coupe no ABS. I have done the banjo
bolt mod on the radiator but found that the hole was clear before hand. I
have listened to the PS pump with a rod and checked the fluid level. The
moan is intermitted and has no clear indicators other than it is a once a
day thing. Car must have sat overnight or no moan. It might not do it for
months and then it will do it the next four times you start it. It does seem
worse in cold weather but will do it with summer temps. It last 30 to 60
seconds.
