[xj-s] Question on sun visors from an E Type chap

Hello brothers (and sisters)

My E type fixed head came without sun visors or brackets.
I found some NOS brackets at extortionate cost (could not
find S/H, missed a few on eBay at 100 plus…)

However the visors themselves are only available as repro
at 100 the pair plus VAT.

I saw these XJS items on eBay 221170329047. The arms look
very similar to e Type so I am thinking I could remove the
visors from the arms and transfer to the arms on my E.

Could anyone advise if the visors are just an interference
fit on the arms and hence just pull off, and the diameter
of the arm itself (so I can check that it is the same as
the arms on my E).

Thanks in advance guys.–

Forget about XJ-S sunvisor’s, at least the plastic end mounts. There
total junk. The inside replacements mounts are available, I never
could find the outside ones. These are the ones that break, if you
use the visor.
