I’ve seen blocked radiators in two cities which have different water
qualities so have to assume that the water quality was not a significant
factor in the blockage. And the amount of concrete which was in my
radiator to have been associated with water quality would also have made
a mess of my teapot which it didn’t. Us tea drinkers are sensitive
souls
At the time these engines were first produced the only Barrs Leaks
available in Australia was the one with the tar like excreta. Rabbit
hunters may recognise it.

Peter,
I have never been so lucky as to live in a place where the tea kettle
didn’t get a layer of mioneral deposits after a while. Goes to show how our
individual experiences color our perceptions
of reality!
