[xj-s] Radio/GPS system

I’ve been contemplating installing a radio/GPS system into my 95’.
I prefer installing one that does it all. I was just looking at all
of the numerous sights. I’m afraid that there doesn’t seem to be
enough room in the dash for any of the current models to fit. Also
I don’t have a trip computer, Its just the air console and a radio.
Has anyone have experience with a suitable unit. If not, I’m afraid
that I’ll have to use a portable GPS screen.–

Nothing wrong with the portable GPS units - having 3 cars I
can easily use it with any of them. Same goes for the ipod.

Just make sure the stereo has an aux input or you might
regret it later.–

Thanks for the advice Mark… but I’m going with the Kenwood in
dash system. The radio has a motorized lcd screen, and has lots of
mad features. The navigation system is a separate unit which mounts
out of sight. It will even gives you traffic conditions along your
chosen rout. And one other cool feature is the rear camera
connection which will help me to stay out of trouble. I have a
convertible that has some intense blind spots.–
