Ok, anyone had this? 86 xjs, when it rains, I get water in the AC

Hi Jon:

Water runs into the air plenum below & forward of the windscreen, and is supposed to drain via a tube ~ 1" in diameter that runs forward on either side of the plenum from the firewall, along the inboard upper edge of the footwell, to a rubber elbow that empties the water into the fender well.

I would suggest removing the tubes and probing/rinsing out to ensure that water is draining properly. Any water that can’t drain that way has nowhere to go except out through the blowers and ducts, which is of course bad for the blowers and the electrical components near the CCU, radio, etc.
