And while at it, the interior lights switch on the dashboard when
activated only turns on the passenger side lights. And if pressed when
the doors are open (i.e. the interior lights are already on) it shuts
off the driver’s side lighting.
Its supposed to do that. Normal behavior. Why? A Jag technician once
speculated that the left hand courtesy light could hamper night vision. So,
it only comes on when the door is open, when the car is (presumeably) not
moving. Don’t you feel safer now?
