A member asked for this info, and I thought I’d put it here too,
and on XJ-1,2,3.
For those wishing to add a rear bar:
Here are pix of the dimensions to mount the rear sway bar.
Measuring from a frame rail, measure 4 �� to a bolt center.
Measuring down from a flat horizontal surface above, measure 6 ��
down for bolt center.
The 2 bolt holes are 3� over centers.
If have to fab up a small box for the vertical link on the radius
arm, it�s as shown, and the link should not contact the arm.
Under the back seat shows where the mounts come through. I believe
all XJS�s have the reinforced areas, otherwise use large washers or
plates. Note rustproofing access holes I drilled which allow
soaking of the rear frame box section that is known to rust,
allowing the radius arm to tear out (ask me how I know).
This is a worthwhile mod.
