Hullo all, maybe you can help me again.
I have a Hollandia tilt & slide sunroof, installed in 1988. The
model may be Series 90 (only a rumour). It doesn’t seal well and
wind noise is obtrusive at highway speeds.
The seal comprises two parts, the main one sitting in a little
channel around the glass and attached by silicone along its whole
length; and a smaller one that keys into a groove in the main part
and is retained by silicone adhesive at each end only.
The part I need is the small seal. It’s about 5/16’’ wide across the
little lips that key into the main part, about 1/4’’ thick and furry
on the surface that engages the inside of the frame.
According to Webasto in Australia, this is an obsolete part and no
longer available; they say they checked for old stock in the hands
of installers, but no luck.
So now I’m asking if you know of any supplier I can contact to
obtain a replacement?
