[xj-s] Shaft size for steering wheel adapter 92

I am looking at replacing my stock airbag black wheel with a nice
Momo that comes with an adapter -not from a Jag.Are there splines
or keyways, and what is the diameter and depth?Anyone done the
change from airbag to no airbag?Pictures.I have read the archives
about the DANGERS in removal. Will this technically make my Canadian
spec. illegal-no longer Ontario saftey comp.If you need my bag and
wheel
,let me know .

In reply to a message from Dodson sent Fri 20 Jan 2006:

I have a '95 that I made the change on, but ordered it with the
correct Momo adapter. It went on pretty easy, and helps with
legroom (which I need). Getting the old airbag system off isn’t
difficult, but you need to know how it’s done. Do you have the
manual, or would you like help?
