[xj-s] Top Gear UK 17 july

Anywone watched it?
They fitted a fire engine red XJS V12 Convt. with steel
train wheels and hooked a decapitated caravan behind it, put
a the lot on a disused railway track to create a train;
quite hilarious:)–

Makes me wish I had money to blow like that (on an otherwise
seemingly perfectly good XJS).

Great episode!–

Yep, tremendously entertaining show. I’d feel a bit more
secure in the real TGV than Clarkson’s TGV12, but it must be
fun to have a go and make some sparks fly.

It looked nice and shiny on the outside, but could be very
crispy inside.

Did you notice that a set of ignition coils for a Mercedes
600CL, with parts, VAT and labour is 1/3 (!) of an entire Jag?
