Hello fellow XJS lovers
I need to remove the throttle body from my AJ16 engine, so
I can remove&replace the idle air control valve.
My Jaguar ROM gives info on removing all kinds of
associated parts (throttle potentiometer, throttle shaft,
intake elbow, etc) but not the throttle body itself, so I
can’t find the tightening torque of the 4 nuts that hold
the throttle body to the intake manifold.
Does anyone know the correct torque, also, any idea why
the ROM would not have info on the throttle body (I can
find the part number only)
