[xj-s] XJS Convertible conversions

Just acquired a Jan '87 2+2 conversion SAJNV5846HC138228. I’m not
sure who did this, possibly Lynx, but it’s a professional and
functional job. Anybody else have experience with one of these?–

Does it have small oval tags on the lower edge of the front
fenders, just behind the wheel wells? If the tag is there, it will
have ‘‘Hess & Eisenhardt’’ on it…that would be the builder. If
it’s not there, either they have been removed, or it wasn’t built
by H&E…–
