I think that I know what is going on, but wanted some advice before I get too
involved in repairs. I am experiencing a slight “shudder” of the steering
wheel during braking. Sometimes is is worse that at other times which I
don’t completely understand. I believe that it might be due to warped front
brake rotors, deteriorating upper A-Arm bushes, deteriorating Power Steering
Rack bushes.
I have ordered:
two new brake rotors
new brake pads
new upper A-Arm bushes (Polyurethane)
Two Upper BJs (I replaced the lowers last year)
I replaced the end links and bushes on the Anti-Roll Bar so those are
fine.
I guess that I should have purchased new tie-rod ends, but the ones that
I have are fairly new. I know that it might make sense since I will have the
front-end aligned following my work. Any suggestions? or other ideas?

Jon, it could be the rotors. Have you moved the wheels/tires around? In any
case put the rotors on first and then drive. Ours had bad upper bushes and
bad left BJs, but was perfectly smooth in braking, until I moved the rear
tires to the front – they have an inverted wear pattern, so the outer edges
of the treads catch every road nonuniformity and braking quiver is one symptom
(until we wear these 2 tires down, of course).
