[xj] transdeucer

Hi guys,

Don’t have time to breakdown the whole speedometer
transdeucer, so I was wondering if anyone has a source for
the transdeucers, either online or a specialty parts store?
It’d be nice to find one on the cheaper side…i’m
replacing the ignition coil before a big drive so It’d be
nice to save some pennies!

Just try a wrecker, Tyler. Even Cov. west has used parts like that.–

Hi you can try ebay for a used one. But you also run the risk of
getting one that is broken. I would buy one new for around $95-
$120. These break on every Jaguar.–

One of the reasons they break is the lack of a strain-relief clip on the wires
out to the connector. Which reminds me, putting one in is on my to-do list,
along with 20 other things!–
