[xj] Vinyl

Got a Daimler XJ6C with the black vinyl on top. After every wash the vinyl
still has brown dusty colour to it. Anyone know of a good product to use to
bring the black shine out in the vinyl. Someone recommended dubin but it
attracts dust.===================================================

Well, this may sound a little silly but…
Years ago I had a car with a black vinyl roof and I found that black shoe
polish applied 2-3 times a year worked wonders ! Or, it would be simple task
(and probably not very expensive) to have a local body and paint shop re-dye
the vinyl.

Hi Troy
I have been hearing good things about ’ POR GLO ’ vinyl rejuvenator.
One treatment lasts for up to one year. Here in Australia it costs
$24 for a 225g can.

Kind Regards
