[xj] water rail wiring

My CTS wiring has been spliced and I am wondering if there is a
specific wire that goes to a specific terminal on the CTS?? I am
about to replace this item and have a new connector for it. The
old one is gone and the wires are just connected to the unit
without a connector.
With respect to the top of the CTS there is a key inside the
connection. Using this as a reference what color wire goes to the
left side etc. Or is it even relevant?

Hi,

The CTS is just a resistor and has no polarity as such. It doesn’t
matter which way the wires go.

Regards,
