Hello all
After a post some weeks ago about the gap between my side windows
getting bigger and consequently some great advice and answers from
forum members I decided to try and realign the windows in their
carriers. I have just finished removing the trim to discover the
cause of the problem. The carrier/cassette has a 4’’ crack due to
corrosion. It is the bottom part that holds the glass.
Here is the tricky bit. Does anyone have any advice or parts as a
repair is going to be difficult and a replacement part near nigh
impossible?
As always, thank you to evryone.

Gary,
Call David Boger first, I believe he parted out a coupe and
I know he knows a guy with a parts car.

I’ve mailed you the window regulator diagram - may help you.
While you are at it, it’s worth checking for corrosion
behind the rear seat side panels. Rotten window seals on
these cars are great destroyers.
By the way, the rubber gaskets for the holes in the windows
can be hard to come by - did a post on this a while ago.–
