I am trying to replace the 1988 XJ40 oil pressure sendng unit.
Problem is that I cant locate it. The book says ''left front -near
oil filter. I removed the oil filter (good excuse for an oil
change). I still can’t locate it. I have the car on a lift. The
replacement I got is cylindrical, with a blade to attach one wire.
Should I be looking from the top of the engine for it? Help greatly
appreciated. Please reply directly to my email. Vettelen@aol.com
Thanks in advance. Len–
