Yesterday, my wife and I went for a drive, and when we went to go
back home, the passive seat belt did not work. It’s staying in the
forward ‘‘unrestrained’’ position. I haven’t had any problems with it
up until this point, so I don’t know where to look first - other
than fuses, of course…–

If you cannot locate the problem as a simple fix, take it to a
dealer - I do believe they will repair it free of charge.
