I removed my left side fuse box to check for a dry joint because
both my left side windows wont work, although switches and motors
are o.k, I put the fuse box back after resoldering all the joints
but now my anti-lock warning light stays on (and me bloody windows
still don’t work), all fuses are o.k. just wondered if anybody had
any ideas as what to check, also where are the sensors as I will
give them a clean while I am at it…many thanks …Brian–

Double check you’re jumping the right wires. IIRC there’s
also a brown/mauve wire that’s easily confused with the
brown/pink one - jumping the wrong one gives you a high
current short circuit!–

In reply to a message from MikeSW17 sent Mon 14 Jan 2008:
Thanks for the reply Mike tried to do the blink test but cannot
find the pm4 diagnostic connector (I presume the big silver box in
the photo is the abs ecu and mine does not even have that), the one
in the photo on the link you gave me is different to mine, my car
is a 1993 3.2s xj6, do you have any ideas as where to look for it,
if not I will put up a new post asking for its location…many
thanks…Brian–
